After trying many, many picks I have come down to two uses for picks. 1. is for quick and clear notes when using distortion, overdrive, etc. / and for a really smooth sound. These are those picks. 2. The other use is for maximum trebble response/ sweat sounds that ring. For that a .71 Star cel. or light guage [orange] tortex type pick is it. These picks are consistent, and the sound produced is very close to my hammer-ons which makes for smooth playing. Notes clearly play through with gain and it plays quick. Highly recommended.
