These are the best picks I've tried so far, and I've tried a lot of pics. Get them!

My friend gave me one of her picks and i thought it was just so great a pick. The one i got was medium light. It isn't that a soft of a pick but it is sounds great on bass. So if your bassist out there looking for great sounding pick which lasts for ages buy the medium light!!!!!

I got turned onto the Gels by Rusty Cooley, the king of guitar shred. These picks have a super slippery surface when contacting the string, so there is no drag. The tone of the pick is low end heavy, with crisp highs, so you can get that classic "poker card on bicycle spokes" tone that defines the shred sound.

This pick is just right for guitars. Its smooth comfortable surface is terrific on making your guitar sound beautiful with each and every strum. It is nice and soft but not too soft. It is hard enough to use on a bass yet soft enough for a guitar. This pick is absolutely without a doubt better than a plastic pick.

I used to use the green medium lights. I still do every once in a while. I wouldn't recommend these for electric players though, because they have this really annoying slappy feedback. For acoustic guitar it's one of the best. It sounds really really clean whenever I use one and it always gives you an even response on all of the strings. The only thing wrong w/them is that they start to crack after about 3 months. Otherwise they're really super.
