Dunlop DB-01 Dimebag Crybaby From HellDB-01 DIMEBAG SIGNATURE PEDAL
This might just be the most flexible, powerful wah pedal ever. Designed in conjunction with Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, the DB-01 Crybaby From Hell gives you everything you need to do serious wah damage. "It's basically what I'd call a hot-rodded wah," Dimebag explains. "It's pretty tricked out-it's got an extended sweep so you can get it to go more high-endy sounding and deeper too. There's a 5-way selector on the side so you can pick what frequency you're gonna play within. You've got a kick-in boost and LED indicators [Wah on/off, Boost on/off] at the back of the pedal-instead of at the front-so you can see them from the back of the stage. And it's got skateboard skid-tape on it instead of rubber so when you've got beer on your feet you won't slip off it. One other little trick is an extra input jack on the left-hand side of the pedal so you can go in and out of the CFH on just that side if you want. That way, if you're just using the wah, you don't have to loop a chord around the top of the thing, so it's less likely to get stuck under the pedal. I'm real proud of the CFH, man," Dime concludes. "It sounds bad-assed and it looks bad-assed too. It's ready for war!"

This wah pedal is the best wah I have ever used. With the volume boost it is perfect for solos. All of its capabilities make it so much better. .
This was my second wah ever to play around with. I've messed with the Weeping Demon and just didn't like it. I bought this wah with no intention of playing it, but just for looks, but I couldn't pass up playing, I mean, Darrell would want me to, right?!? I don't like using a lot of effects! Anyway, this thing is awesome. It's got serious emotion built into it, if played right. You can go from depressing death ballad to funky 70's Floyd sounds, to, my favorite, DIMEBAG DARRELL. I had to jam Throes of Rejection with this!! I don't know how I'll fit it into our bands music, but I'll find a way!!!
The best unadvertised feature of this device is its stability. You set it down and it stays put. Get your foot on it only half-way and you can still maintain control. ThereÆs a lot of sweep in this pedal which makes it a very versatile addition to any rig. Took me about a week just to get a feel for where I wanted to be. The boost button is a great feature if you go back and forth between rhythm and lead. A simple slap of the foot and youÆre there. I havenÆt messed around much with the frequency knob. Get an AC adapter when you go for this purchase because once you start playing with it youÆll keep it on all the time. I went with a Signal Flex 5 port adapter. Way cheaper than DunlopÆs brick and thereÆs no wall wart to deal with. Your mileage may vary ... the ECB-003 carries a very reasonable price tag.
This is a great sounding pedal that lets you go from a mellow Hendrix sound to the screaming sound of Dimebag. The pedal has controls for volume, sweep, wah, and range. With all of that, you can dial into just about any tone you want. I would definitely suggest you buy this pedal.
i bought this about 8 months ago, and havent looked back.i use this on, all the time with boost running thru a DD-11 and KFK 10 band equaliser. man, i get awesome tone (esp with stereo amps), and this pedal is key. The boost really thickens your sound, and with teh wah engaged, it adds some extra treble, which sounds cool, even on riffs.I have the pedal set up so that i can push it up to play rythm and plaster it down for solo work, man its great. I get a healthy bassy tone for riffage ala Dime or Crowbar, and a well "dime" tone for my solos, great with some hefty reverb. Not only does this pedal offer so much degree of versatility, but its built like a tank, man, ive bashed this many a time, and it hasnt even chinked the paint. The only thing is, which kit like this that costs, dont run it through some ú40 10W amp, it just doesnt improve it. run this through a good amp, with some good kit and it owns.
