I purchased the metal master back at Christmas time and the first thing I noticed was it's solid construction and included battery. The tone control of the pedal is awesome. It sounds extremely clear at all volume levels. Plus it has a super low noise. If you run the pedal through any $300 dollar + amp it will sound amazing! If you run it through any cheap amp with less then 30watts you'll regret buying it. Also it will suck the life out of a battery so buy the adapter. Lucky for you Music 123 sells that too.

This pedal Is Awesome. It has settings for DOD's Death Metal And Boss' Metal Zone. It has a controlled feedback setting and my favorite is the Tour of Hell setting. Price is great for this quality. Used with the Digitech Multi Chorus and Digi Delay it makes some good solos. If you're into Heavy Metal you need this pedal.

I had no idea it was even possible to put this much distortion into the sound of a guitar until I hooked up mine to this pedal, simply awesome!!!!

I just got this pedal and I love it. Very simple to get incredible heavy sound. I had a dod grundge but wanted more bite and chunkyness. I looked at a lot of pedals and settled on the boss mt-2 metalzone. Even thought this is a good pedal, I found it to time consuming to keep dialing in settings to get the right sound I was looking for, then try and remember all the settings I used. I use these pedals through a v-amp2 in my home recording studio and I use a lot of amps. With the metalzone, I had to keep a book on all my settings. With the metal master, my v-amp2 sounds unbelievable. The Marshalls and rectifiers sound insane. This pedal is very easy to get a great chunky sound with, fast. You won't be disappointed!

This pedal is so amazing. I tried it out on a jcm 2000 and almost melted. The distortion is anything you would expect from pedals. I recommend this pedal to all my buddies. It has from a thin side to a ultra chunky sound. If you want a quality distortion pedal, get this one. You'll be glad.
