This box has it all! The modeling and tweaking possibilities are endless. As if that wasn't enough you have a very straightforward recording process with ProTools+ that includes voice and MIDI interfaces. I made a CD demo song from multi-track recording to burn without even reading the manual. Add to that the built in drum machine and you have an awesome effects/recording tool.I had considered getting other units including the BOSS GT-8, but when you compare the features the Digitech comes out way ahead.Highly recommended.
The Digitch GNX3000 is truly worth the cost, if not more. The distortion and clean tones it produces are well above the average for an effects pedal. It allows you to create your own custom tones, as well as play with Queen's, Joe Satriani's, Slash's, Dream Theater's, and many others tones. The delay, reverb, noise gate, and wah effect are outstanding, and the flanger and phaser sound fantastic. It is very reliable and will never go out on you, however it does need to be plugged in to play. The casing is also very sturdy and can withstand falls, and having liquid spilled on it (believe me, I know). All in all, this is an incredible buy and an even better price. I definitely recommend this pedal to any guitarist: rock to metal, country to blues.
I play in both a cover band and an original band and this pedal can do it all. Great sounding amped and direct with amazing flexibility for output. I use to have both a Pod XTlive and a GT6 and this thing has replaced both. Well worth trying.
Just astonishing! It the easier to use, robust, severe, compact and techno guitar box ever. Just plug in your guitar and boom! you find out the guitars in yours recordings. For the first time the guitars rocks! It's perfect for live, thus also for the creating phase of your work (if you stand in your studio). And it's magic in recording.
