I was searching Music 123 for bass effects, I wanted to take the BP80, but I took an experts advice and took the BP200. Boy, am I happy that I took his advice... The BP200 has everything I need, a drum machine with 31 beats, 16 amp types, 40 factory/40 user presets, plus it has an expression pedal and a tuner. The effects are great, it has 2 wahs (auto wah and rock wah) and lots more of awesome effects. Thank you Music123, it has been great dealing with you. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great multi effect processor.

I recently reviewed this pedal back in mid February. I probably should have waited until now to review it, because I hadn't fully explored the machine in it's totality. I can honestly say now, that after 4 months, there's no doubt that this is the best pedal out there for the money. I originally complained about the lack of batteries and an on/off switch. When I think about it, these are minor things. Digitech's website contains a user patch library section, created by BP 200 users. There are close to 150+ that you can try out and manually load in, if you like. This is a deceptive little box, which has a lot more in it then meets the eye. Don't get caught up with the standard presets. If you don't like them, modify them or load in a different patch. This way, you can have 40 customized patches along with the 40 factory sets. (Which can't be altered) You can literally have 80 programs at your disposal. In my original reviewe, I complained about the lack of synth programming. This is still a progress in works, but I've discovered that the key is to mess around with the envelope filter, then tweak other effects...delay, pong, et. Throw in the drum machine, and you can be a one man bass-band! So there you have it, my update. This is a great pedal, buy it!

"Great for studio-bad for live"

This pedal has some awesome effects and sooo many features its unreal. Every effect is customizable so its really nice. The problem is when you try to play live. Mine worked great for a little while, but I kept having problems with the pedals sticking and wouldn't move to the effect i wanted. It was also very hard to get to the 'bypass'. You had to press both pedals at the same time and they are not very close together. Overall, this is an amazing piece of equipment for studio and recording. It is a pain to use live though.

I bought this processor over the weekend and am quite pleased with it. I was impressed with the solid construction, especially in light of anotherreviewer's complaint of questionable quality. The salesman assured me that he has sold several of these units, with no complaints, and assured me that I could get my funds refunded if anything went wrong. I was also impressed with the number of preset effect and the capability to customize to my preference. I have a 6-string bass, so the "octavizer" sounded muddy on my lower strings. Istayed up most of the night tinkering around with it. I've never owned an effects unit until now,so I compared it to others before buying. I tes-ted a Boss octavizer and a Peavey Kosmos. I chose this one over those because of the pedal and the effects. I still might get the Kosmos because of the clarity of the notes, but I had to have some effects first.
