I bought my first Di Marzio cable a couple of years ago. I was trying to decide between a Monster cable or a Di Marzio cable. I was tired of all the cheap cables that always break. I figured both of these were good companies, so it would be a better cable than I was used to. I decided to buy the Di Marzio because it was gold. I have a Les Paul gold top and a Strat with a gold anodized pickgaurd. Being a girl I like everything to match. (Okay guys quit laughing!) What happened though was I got much more than I expected. I just wanted a cable that would hold up to use. But all my instruments actually sounded better with the Di Marzio cable! I didn't realize that cheap cables don't relay the sound quality as well. It's worth the extra cost for the better sound. The different colors Di Marzio makes are helpful too. It goes beyond just matching colors like us girls like to do. When you have 4 guitars going into 2 amps and sometimes a PA or a recorder, not to mention all the stomp boxes between, different colors are a Big help. Now I have Di Marzio cables in gold, siver, black/grey and tweed. Having different colors helps to keep track of what is plugged into what, especially if the cables get tangled up. That way you don't accidentally plug one guitar into another guitar or an amp into another amp rather rather than the PA for instance.

I got the 6 in. version of these patch cables. I ordered three of them and connected four pedals with virtually no loss of signal. I know because my amp is very, very sensitive to crappy cables or pedals. If you get these cables, also make sure you have true bypass effects to take full advantage of the quality offered by DiMarzio. They were also a great price on sale at Muisc123.

A perfect fit and a good way to keep your pedals from moving around too much. I only use two pedals so this is perfect. Would be great on a pedal board as well.
