I enjoy Playing on a Denis Wick Mute because the mute allows me to project my sound and not block it. I Chose Dennis Wick because of the reputation it has for producing a great tone. I use my mutes for different styles of trumpet playing including Classical, Jazz and Ensemble situations. These mutes give my playing the edge and it's fun to play with creating these sounds that you wouldn't get out of an old cardboard or plastic mute.

The Denis Wick Harmon mute is great for jazz playing, it allows nice projection and has a very distinctive sound. I have now had it for two years and it has always been a festival favorite.
