I also bought this guitar for my 6 yr. old daughter. It's the perfect size for a child of this size. The finish, I bought the pink, is very nice. There are however no fret dot inlays. There is also no strap button. Out of the box the action is very high and difficult even for me to hold down a string to get a note. Once I filed down the bridge, changed the strings, and tuned it up, it was much better and it actually sounds very nice. I also added a strap button to the bottom. With a little work, this guitar turns from a toy to a nice little learning guitar. Most importantly my daughter was thrilled to have a pink guitar with a pink strap to play along with dad.
I bought this guitar for my six-year old daughter's birthday. She absolutely loves it. For the price, I think this is a nice guitar - and a good one to start out with, especially for kids 6-12. Good product. Good price.
