I have never seen a more polarized consensus before with any other strings, and I've used quite a few. I really like how they don't "fray" like other coated strings. I feel they sound great on my Alvarez dreadnought. It's a loud resonant guitar and the Alchemy strings give it even extra punch. The sound is more consistent during the entire life of the string than all others I've tried. Very satisfied!

Put these strings on and was immediately impressed with them. They are not too bright, project well with great volume and good punch. Interesting look. Great playability. Much better feel than elixrs. Definitely stocking up on these. They are fantastic.

I had used Martin 80/20 medium gauge for 10 years but decided to change things up. When I saw the Alchemy line, I decided to give them a try and have been very pleased. The color took some getting used to, but the sound is great, and they last long.I have found a keeper!

I've been playing for 4 years now and performing live for 3 of them, and while electric guitar tone has never been a big thing for me, I am incredibly picky about my acoustic sound. I've tried all kinds of strings on my acoustic, and have never heard it sound like it does with these ones. Martin, D'Addario, and Elixir coated strings don't even hold a candle to these... and though they look kind of odd at first, you do come to appreciate the gold finish. The definition is incredible throughout the tonal spectrum, and the bass presence and overall projection is exactly what I want out of my guitar. These strings provide unbeaten clarity and balance. I absolutely swear by Alchemy GoldBronze strings and have recommended them to every guitarist I know. Give them a shot - you won't be disappointed.
