I didn't expect this guitar to be as good as it is. The sound is better than guitars I have played costing as much $1,000. It is even more beautiful in person. Even though I did not play or see this guitar in person before I ordered it, I went on faith because I'm so pleased with the Dean electric 12 string I have, the reviews I read of this guitar were great.

I received this guitar about a month ago. I could not believe how beautiful it is. The picture does not do it justice. The sound quality is great..it has a deep and solid sound. It has better sound when played accoustically than most electric accoustic guitars. It is a great buy for the money. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it!

I took an extreme, and uncharacteristic leap of faith with this guitar; having never played it, and being totally mesmerized by the look of this guitar, just decided to impulsively buy it. To this day, I don't regret a thing. That was more than two years ago. The sound of this piece is incredible with its light blue eloquent finish with an oceanic design on the fretboard, and packs a whole lot of sound. The electric features are incredible. I plug it into my acoustic amp, and the sound is incredibly clear, but not too light, enough noise to resonate the room. I've also played her live in coffee shops, and sounds great. The Key Largo is very playable, and good for the asking price. I'd rather keep playing this guitar than most Taylors (depending of course on the quality of the Taylor, let's not get carried away). Probably the only defect I found was not the actual guitar or the playability, but the fact that Dean didn't include a strap button on the guitar, so I actually had to go to a local guitar shop to get one put on. It only took a couple minutes and cost about five bucks, but nonetheless should have been put on there in the first place. You will enjoy this guitar, I promise.

"Better in person"

The pictures here do this guitar no justice. It is so much better looking in person. The sound and tone is unbelievable. I quickly added a set of Dean Markley Blue Steels to this PYT and the pop is amazing. The highs ring out without overloading the mids and lows. Lots of punch coming out of this small package. The sound totally blew me away and was a great compliment to my mellow, low toned Washburn. I have seen complaints about the neck and action when this guitar arrives. I didn't have any of these issues. The guitar was perfect right out of the box. According to Dean this guitar has been discontinued so if you have been putting off getting it, stop. Get it now before they are all gone.
