One of the things that is great about this guitar, is simply the look of it. Any time I pull it out, fellow musicians, friends, and strangers are all impressed by the simple, but beautiful deep red look of the guitar. The picture does it NO justice at all.I've owned this guitar for a year and a half almost, and the playability is wonderful. The sound is great. It's no Martin. But it's certainly an awesome guitar. The pick up is great. I wish it had a built in tuner with it, but that's because I lost my tuner at a battle last year. And haven't gotten a new one yet. This guitar is worth the money if your looking for great sound, original/different looks, and awesome feel. Strings for it are general preference. So you'll decide on your own what sounds best. The bridge pegs that came on mine broke easily, and I've replaced 4 of them so far. So be careful when changing strings. Once again, this guitar is beautiful, playable, and has a great tone no matter where your playing.
I have owned this guitar for about a year and a half now and I still love it!! From the moment I picked it up I fell in love with it. The action on it is beautiful and there is no need to do anything to it. When I bought the guitar it had D'Addario strings on it, I've tried Martin SP's and Elixirs, but D'Addario's seem to sound the best. The pick up sounds great as well. I am a sound engineer and have recorded with this guitar many times. It's perfect for recording, it doesn't have all that extra bass that you just get rid when recording acoustic guitars, but it still has a nice full sound. Many musicians that I have recorded end up using my guitar instead of theirs for recording because they like it so much. Since buying this guitar I've played many high end guitars and I still love mine, it doesn't have a Martin, Taylor or Gibson sound, and I wouldn't go as far as saying that my guitar sounds better, but as far as the feel of this guitar, I'd put it up there with any!!
