Dean Edge 4 4-String Bass
While beauty was the inspiration of the Dean Edge, we put every bit of our 20 plus years of design experience into these models. We started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all others. We designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with our asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. Dean Active pickups with Grover machines.

I've owned this bass for almost 3 years. Sound is nice for jazz/rock. Only problem I've has is with the bridge. I replaced it with a hip shot. Tone is pretty killer

I bought this bass left-handed. I was looking for an upgrade to a better bass from my last one. I like that the bass has the powerful pickups and the double octave fret bar. The bass boost dial is very powerful and changes its sound greatly. I think if you're looking for a durable, great sounding and affordable bass, this is it.
