Danelectro Spring King Spring ReverbSpring King Spring Reverb
'50s-era reverb without dragging a tank around! If that isn't enough Danelectro added a "kick pad." One foot tap sends the reverb into a thunderous explosion. Why the kick pad? Believe it or not, bands in the 50's and 60's used to kick the side of their amp to get this effect! Anyway, it sounds cool.
So there you have it. An absolutely stellar spring reverb that's portable, easy to use and doesn't break your wallet. What's not to like about that!

the good: built like a tank. pretty awesome spring reverb sound, not on par with a fender, but well worth it for the bread. sounds better than the EH holy grail's spring reverb. the kick pad is a bit gimmicky, but fun nonetheless.the bad: this is a one trick pony, and you probably wouldn't be looking at it if you could afford a real reverb tank. the chickenhead knobs are great, but the controls don't provide enough variation for my taste, but it sounds very convincing.the ugly: not enough knobs ;^)summary: this is a cool pedal, that has a pretty good spring reverb tone to it. it isn't amazing, but surely accomplishes what I wanted; a spring reverb for my amp that lacked one.
