This is the first talk box I've ever used. The sound is great. You can easily obtain Frampton's "do you feel like we do" and AIC's Man in the Box sounds, but because of the in-line option you can't turn the unit up very loudly or you'll get a very loud hiss. But it's great for gigging and recording.

This thing is great awesome price and is capable of any sound your trying to get the only problem is it gets a little messy with spit

I use it through a strat and my modified Marshall vs232. The deeper you tune the guitar the better it sounds. I tune down to C# when I use it. I also use two noise gates with it so my wiring is this guitar + noise gate + voice box + noise gate + amp

This is a great pedal. You can have instant Richie Sambora(Bon Jovi) fun. The only fault I have is the feedback from the two small microphones. Other than that, it's the biz. As a fan of Bon Jovi, I had to have a talkbox in my effects but you don't have to be a Bon Jovi fan to enjoy it.
