In addition to all you guitar players, this thing works on bass too. The sound doesn't die out in the lower notes at all and is totally customizable too. If you're looking for a cheap pedal that doesn't have the cheap sound nor the make up, get this thing. This one sounds the best of the three FABs in my opinion.

This is a great pedal, for the price you cant beat it. I was very surprised the such a cheap pedal had such great tone. I works very well to play it through a clean amp or you can use it to give a little boost to an already distorted amp. it is not quite as versatile as I would have liked, but hey it coast less then 15 bucks. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who wants to get a great overdrive sound without having to spend alot of money

This pedal is the bang for the buck, and more! Jimmy Page and Alvin Lee's jaws would drop to the ground if they heard the sound, of this small, inexpensive pedal...what a pedal.

I play pretty much all sorts of music. I have been a serious guitar player for almost 37 years now and still playing. I have been around the block a few times and played pretty much every thing that guitar has to do with from A to Z you name it. I have not heard music until I had heard this pedal. Once I plugged this baby in, I absolutely could not believe my ears and I was so stunned I could barely move. If Jimmy Page or Stevie Ray Vaughn were still around, I could almost guarantee that they would be using this amazing piece of equipment. It is also extremely durable.

I bought this little dude because it is cheap, and a Dano...two things I am fond of in a pedal, for some reason. I didn't have any specific plans for this when I got, but it is very useful for many things. I have used w/ my LP and a cheapo chorus with great results. I have used w/ my J-bass, and Stingray (5), and I was very impressed. It's amazing this little box can cover such a wide range with just 3 knobs. I have also run my drum machine through for a NIN, Skillet kind of sound....this is very cool. You can make it sound real gritty, and you can get a real smooth sound out of it. So, I just don't think you can go wrong, here. Buy expensive stuff if you have to. But if you are secure enough w/ yourself, buy this one. If you do spend the $ on this, and decide you don't like it, make sure you keep the box and give it as a Christmas gift...
