This can be used to "tighten up" the sound of an instrument or to let a note or chord "ring out" or sustain several times longer than it would normally. The Orange Squeezer compresses the dynamics of the music or of the individual notes without adversely affecting the attack of the note and without adding any significant noise or distortion to the signal. An internal adjustment lets the user adjust the Output level to suit his instrument and his playing style, while the compression threshold is pre-set at the factory. Input Impedance is 80 k Ohms. Output Impedance is 1800 ohms, and the Signal/Noise ratio is a quiet 86 db.
