DW Drums Collector's Series Warranty:
Drum Workshop, Inc. guarantees that DW Collector's Series? Drums are free of material and workmanship defects for a period of six (6) years from the original purchase date. Drum Workshop will repair or replace defective products free of charge to the original purchaser upon delivery of the product to an authorized DW Drums dealer. Proof of purchase and status as the original purchaser are required for warranty coverage. DW's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limted to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim. DW Pedals and Hardware Warranty:
For a period of five years from the date of purchase, Drum Workshop, Inc. guarantees the original owner, when presented with proof of purchase, that all 9000, 5000 and 7000 Series Bass Drum Pedal cast parts are free of material and manufacturing defects. This warranty is limited to cast parts only; such as the base casting, footboard, beater hub, sprocket, heel and cam casting. This warranty does not include moving parts; such as the spring assembly, beater ball, radius rod, hex shaft, ball bearings, etc. If under normal playing conditions parts covered in this limited five year warranty fail, they will be replaced at no charge. Return the pedal to your authorized DW dealer or, if there is not a dealer in your area, contact DW direct. DO NOT send pedal to DW without first receiving a Return Authorization Number. Shipping charges to DW will be paid by the consumer. DW's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limited to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim. The DW stand I got today is the latest in the hunt to find one that has a wide enough foot print to hold my vintage 1964 Rogers snare. (Its heavy!) I also have the Iron Cobra double bass pedal and the Iron Cobra hi-hats and the Iron Cobra clutch. This stand will fit between all of the objects between my feet and still be able to position the snare to my liking. I couldn't do that with my other 3. The basket being offset and adjustable is the reason. Its just great. Very heavy though if you like to travel lite, don't buy it. Weighs in at 15 pounds. With no clothes on. Was this review useful? From mainstream to extreme, the 9000 Series by Drum Workshop is the most versatile and durable hardware system around - truly tough enough for anything today's progressive drum and percussion players can throw at it.This is an amazing snare drum stand, you can tighten the 3 holders for the snare so it keeps the snare locked in the stand. It also weighs in at 15 pounds, which is heavy, but good, so the snare does not move around. It also has a dual lock for the height of the snare and it goes high enough to suit your "stand up" needs. (I originally bought this stand for stand up because no other stand could go high enough) Now I play the kit and it works perfectly for my needs as a hard rock drummer.
