These are the best pedals I have ever had. I am now on my second set of pedals and I love them. the ball bearing hinges make the pedal incredibly smooth and responsive. Now they have so many features and upgrades that the possibilities to customize your pedals are endless. I highly recommend these pedals to anyone of any skill level.

This pedal is great. The springs are tight, but I like that feel because it helps me play much quicker. This beats all other double pedals and its great for all music styles.

This pedal really rocks! It is very heavy duty and solid. Yes there may be some lighter pedals, but how long will they last, and the price of this pedal has really come down.

I have just purchased a dw5002ad3. The hinge connecting the footboard is chunkier than many, and gives the pedal really smooth and sturdy strokes. One feature I like is the ease of movement between high-hats and left kick due to the single post. I find the motion a bit heavier than some pedals on the market but it has more punch than some others. I honestly didn't find these pedals too heavy, they were somewhere in between. Normally it would take a couple of days or sometimes even weeks to feel comfortable with a new pedal but this one broke in straight away, within a couple of minutes it felt right. The only way you can really make up your mind is to try out all the double kick pedals on the market for yourself, everyone has different needs. I just hope the workmanship is as good as my old dw.....

I played this pedal among several others in a music store and I thought it was the best, hands down. I found the response to be faster and smoother than all the other pedals. If you suspect the pedal will wear out, pay the extra money for the extended protection plan and you have nothing to lose. I highly recommend this pedal and I have been playing drums for a variety of bands for 20 years.
