I recently bought this pedal a few weeks ago. over the time I've tried a few other models from various companies and in the end well this is obviously not the TOP of the line, but for the price, its a great deal. They feel strong, and if someone has the remark about weight and such, this might be true but doesn't stop you from sounding how you want to. All it means is you need to build more strength. I feel that both pedals are equal. Of course there is some difference since one foot isn't matched to the other possibly. So in the end I'm happy with the speed I'm getting, the sound, smoothness and such. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this device two weeks ago and i think i like it. I can't go too fast, but i'm getting faster every day. One day i will be a pro!! The beaters seem to be quite heavy, so maybe i will buy some lighter ones one day. Off course this is a money-generator from a company that usually makes high-end expensive (semi-) professional products, and this one is not a high end expensive(!) proffesional double pedal, but for a relatively cheap pedal i think this is a good one to consider. So it's not top-of-the-range, but good enough for a recreational drummer.I like it.

I bought this pedal a month ago and it has improved my drumming so much. Really fun to play great for the money. Quick, easy, smooth, good response. Only 1 real problem I can find with it. The heads are too heavy to go really fast but that is easy to fix. You can buy other heads for less money. I suggest the Gibraltar heads. Awesome for solos. I recommend this for a first dbp.

I have been playing drums for over 4 years now and bought this pedal around 6 months ago. I have improved a lot, the pedal is brilliant for the money as it is excellent quality. Its perfects for begginers-intermediates. I love the pedal and will always buy Drum Workshop pedals!

This is a good deal for a double bass pedal. My dad flipped out when he saw the price tag, but he still got it for me. The beater goes a long way back, and I haven't figured out how to fix it. I have grown more used to it, so my foot feels faster. I would recommend a nicer pedal, like another DW pedal, if you have the cash. This is the BEST pedal you can find that doesn't break the bank!
