The DR red devil series are a very reliable set of strings. I have used this set on an Ibanez Sound Gear Bass and the Red Devils gave the Bass an immediate boost in life. I used to play with Ernie Ball strings but I found that the Red Devils lasted much longer and retained a bright and heavy sound even after loads of abuse.
