I bought this case as a replacement case for the Kolhert Bass Clarinet I recently purchased. The original case was old and falling apart and when I saw this, I couldn't pass it up. It has worked very well and the horn is very secure. I recommend this case for anyone in need to replace an existing case. Also, the one I purchased was the 5-piece case
