I've been using this stand since I was in the 7th grade, because at the time I was too small for my horn. Now that I'm a senior in high school, I still use it whenever I play. Helps with posture and enforces good breathing habits.

I teach band grades 6-12 and have been using the DEG tuba stand with my younger players for years. I would not have any of my 6th or 7th graders play without the stand and they have all come to love using them. It is the best way for a smaller player to get the best playing position and posture needed for proper breath support.

An excellent product - quality and use. After having some health problems, this stand has become a necessity for an older player. Flexible positioning offers excellent assurance of both correct embouchure and comfort. Small "footprint" makes it easy to position even in tight spaces. If you play a 4/4 or 5/4 horn it's unthinkable to be without this stand!

"Stand is great - The carrying case is bad"

We love the stand. Don't get the carrying case. We used the case one day and the handle broke off. Music123 sent us another carrying case and that case also lasted one day. So we went through two case in about 10 minuets of use. Don't waste your money on the carrying case it will not last.
