At first it was great to me. Clamped on bell nice and tightly and wasn't in my way at all. After a heavy usage during this marching season, the bolts for the clamps went bad. Mainly a nut that holds the screw steady in the clamp, slid down. So when you would twist the wing nut to tighten the clamps, the bolt just spun around, and no tightening would occur. The clamps still work, it is just that i have to push down on the flathead screwdriver end of it so it wouldnt spin when tightening it, and it then worked. Its not horrible, just an inconvenience. Its almost impossible to tighten the little nut that slid down due to have no space to get anything in there to tighten it. It's amazing if you only need it for once marching season.

"Better than the brass lyres"

This is much easier than using a brass lyre. It just clips to the bell of your trombone. Saves time and struggles trying to get the brass lyre to fit and stay put.
