Electret condenser capsule delivers full, clear, distortion-free sound. Gain-before-feedback and isolation are exceptional. Lightweight, rugged, and comfortable, the headband and mic boom are adjustable for any vocalist. Includes a battery/phantom power beltpack.

Crown CM-311A Headset Mic With Beltpack
Designed for touring and live-sound applications, the Crown CM-311A is a rugged head-worn microphone with unequalled performance. It sounds like the best handheld microphones-full, clear, and distortion-free, even with the loudest singers.

The CM-311A is the latest version of the Crown's proprietary Differoid technology. Its cardioid pickup pattern rejects sounds from the rear, such as floor monitors. Its noise-canceling ability rejects sounds at a distance, such as instruments on stage and crowd noise. This results in the CM-311A having outstanding gain-before-feedback and isolation.

Lightweight and comfortable, the mic's headband and boom adjust to fit any singer. An included pop filter greatly reduces breath noise and pops. Because of the boom's unique behind-the-ear design, it does not cover up the singer's face.

Crown CM-311A Headset Mic With Beltpack Includes:

Microphone carrying case, WS-6 foam pop filter, clothing clip

"Great Sound, broke twice"

Great mic, full range capability. This mic is the choice of many pros. Mic is light weight, very comfortable and stays in place. I run sound, operate a laptop with tracks, play guitar, lead sing and front a band 5 days a week and this mic. My only complaint is that I've been able to break 2 of these mic so far. My 2nd one got shipped off today for factory warranty service. Crown has a 3 year warranty. Twice now the cable where it leaves the headset appears to become frayed inside either causing no signal, or signal with a loud popping everytime the wire moves. Incredibly annoying. I've heard of a few headliners carrying boxes of these mics because they sound great but may not be so dependable. If they come through on a warranty replacement I may have to sell my 311 or make it a back up against a more dependable headset.

Great sounding mic. Since Crown recommends the foam pop filter touch your lips for correct adjustment, you may not wish to share. I had a little trouble with breath noise from breathing out of my nose while not singing - a Crown tech recommended cutting a piece of a larger foam pop filter and rubber banding it to the top of the mic (as it faces me).I too have had a little trouble - the backplate of the mic element became loose causing all kinds of trouble. Crown has great warranty support and shipped me a brand-new replacement, but I am a little nervous of it happening again after the warranty period expires.Five-star sound, ?-star reliability
