The outside appearance of the case is beautiful. The finish on it is superb! The white highlights on the edges of the case bring out the amazing shape that the coffin case has. The inside of the case has an incredibly plush finish to it. The red velvet is beautifully crafted to fit superbly to the Jazz o r P Bass.
I have the universal bass darkline. Its the same case, minus the accessory case. Its a little longer and heavier than my SKB, but it feels more solid. The balance is most excellent, and it has 5 locking latches. Because of the shape, the handle is off center by a lot, length wise, making carrying it in a crowd easier to avoid hitting things, if you carry it narrow end forward. I love it and plan on getting more of the darklines. One for my 86 Kramer, and one for my martin d-15. These guys make nice stuff.
