I purchased one of these units about a month or so ago. Its come in handy for adding color and light to the stage when my par cans are on an "off" mode. However, it doesn't light up an entire stage, and tends to rapidly flash.All in all for the money I paid, and the needed use for a little "extra" lighting. Its well worth the price.

Our band plays a lot of clubs with no lights at all and these make a great first step into making your own light show. An on'off swtich would be nice but right now plugging both units into one power switch solves that problem. We placed both lights on the floor pointing up for a cool underlighting effect.

I was looking for these specific lights because I've seen them in use. These are perfect for wash lights to help light up a band in smaller clubs. I only use two but I'll be buying two more. Can't beat them for the price! They arrived packed extremely well and got here quickly. Music 123 has the best prices around. Now if they would only have a payment plan like some of their competitors, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Our band has a lighting truss with 4 of these up high to cut down on the heat factor. We also have several of the DJ BANKs closer to the members of the band. The mix of them together is great. Bulbs give off a warm and ambient glow, where the LED's seem more concentrated and less heat. These fill the stage with lighting, but, use them away from the band members (up high) to cut down on the heat of bulbs. Go with 2 or more of em on each side to give off light well. Each fixture will only use 1 bulb at a time and chase or react to sound. We have them set all different. The LEDs only react to drums, one of these reacts to guitar, one to bass and the two highest fixtures react to everything and basically chase to sound. The stop when we stop setting a mood between songs. No need for controllers with these. Easy, effective and painless. Hang on to the styrofoam bulb cover for transporting.
