I ordered this for my 3rd grader and it is awesome. It has great sound, much better than the dollar store one we had. She loves the color too! We ordered the purple one. I am going to recommend this brand to the music teacher so she will know the difference it can make in the sound.

My daughter just received one of these recorders through her grade school. I am totally impressed with this instrument for the amount of money. The production of the low notes is very easy. I have played several recorders where notes produced with the right hand of often sluggish or just plain impossible. Not with this sweet little thing. The colors are fantatic. Excellent buy for you money...I hightly recommend. I am going to look into the Canto brand for my recorder students to replace the current instruments.
