I purchased two sets of the four pack mic sets for a live concert we had on Dec. 4, 2005. The drum sounds were incredible. I play a Pearl Export 7-piece kit that is 21 years old. I was very pleased with the rim mounts that come with the mics. I never hit a mic all night long. The mounts allow you to position the mics so that they pick up the best sound without being in the way. The mounts also saved me money because I didn't have to buy 8 mic stands. Over all not only myself, but the guys in the band were truly amazed, as was the audience.
