I've had this for about 3 months now and couldn't be happier with it. When I got it in the mail it took only about 30 seconds to figure it out. I set it: Threshold to Max, Decay to Min, and Mode to Reduction to use during a song, or Mode to Mute to cancel all sound when a song is through whichever you choose. The jacks seemed complicated at first because of what the manual shows you, but just plug your guitar into the Input side jack, and your amp into the Output side jack and you'll be good to go. You need to remember to unplug the Input jack when your done playing and ESPECIALLY at night, or it will run the battery down quicker. Battery life will last you a good couple of weeks, or you can plug an AC adaptor into it. Thats another good thing, if you use an AC adaptor, it has a very snug fit unlike other pedals I use, so it's less likely to unplug if you trip over the cord. Even though it cost $90 plus shipping, it is well worth your money.

If you were fed up from too much feedback, like I was, then you very much should consider buying this. The light on the pedal only lights up when you are not playing. All this pedal does is take away ALL feedback. It doesn't effect your natural sound at all. IT'S SWEET! This is what you do: set threshold to max, decay to min, and mode to reduction, and you're good to go. It also can supply power to all of your pedals. All you need is one adapter and a daisy chain cord. (It says on the instructions to only use the BOSS adapter and the BOSS daisy chain chord, but you can use any brand. I use a DIGITECH adapter and a ROLAND daisy chain chord.) Just if you are wondering, it can supply power to any brand of pedal, not just BOSS. The send and return inputs can be useful if you have a lot of pedals. This pedal is a bit pricey, but it's well worth every penny. It is a must have for anyone who owns many pedals! Buy it now!

I have a Boss Metal Zone, Super Overdrive, Compression Sustainer, Wah, Flanger, Phaser and Digital Delay... with that much stuff, the humming was enough to drive me mad! Then I discovered the noise suppressor... well I tried it out, and as soon as I used it... *POOF*, no more noise! It works great! Also, you won't need to worry about batteries anymore, cause it acts as a power supply for all your other pedals. Build a board for your pedals, and you've got a nice convenient package for all of your pedals, without having to set it all up over and over again, or changing batteries.

I play a lot of hardcore metal and rock music. I have high output pickups in my guitar going into a Marshall stack. Sounds great but it feeds back every time I stop playing. So nerve-racking. Then I bought this NS boss pedal and set the thing according to the directions and no more feedback. Why didn't I buy this ten years ago when I first started? It also stops acoustic guitar feedback on stage. It's amazing, easy and it's only 90 bucks!

Are you sick of your amp making that annoying humming sound? You can stop that with the NS2. It will totally eliminate the noise of the input signal preserving the original sound's tonality.
