Boss BR-600 Digital Recorder

You have to literally sit down and read the manual like a book, IÆve had it for one of two months or so and still I donÆt get the full abilities of this thing. But I will get it eventually. Comes with drum arrangements, its sweet, A LOT of effects u can use. U can also hook it up with your computer and add some Midi or FRUITyloops stuff and record that and play it over if u wish. Small hard drive though. It looks nice. But itÆs fragile so handle with care, always keep it inside the bag. U might want a power adapter for this. This little thing will keep u busy for weeks. I do not regret it.

The BR 600 is one of the best pieces of equipment i've bought, its so easy to use, it took my about 10 minutes upon opening it till i was recording it, its so good, great sound and the guitar and vocal effects just kick ass. the velocity drums and patterns are great too, they sound so real even i sometimes forget that they're actually artificial when i listen over to my stuff. If i had to critise it would only be the fact that you cant directly plug in a piano but you can always mic one up. This is definatly a guitarist made recorder, its great for any singer songwriter, or rock band, its also good for recording live music with its microphones which sound great too. I brilliant product and i would reccomend it to any aspiring guitarist who wants their music down on CD or whatever.

I traded in a Tascam DP-01FX for this thing. For sound quality, features, and ease of use, the BR-600 is the BEST. The condenser mics are fantastic if you just want to use this thing like a notebook, but it has line inputs if you need even higher quality. Overdubbing is very intuitive, and the fx section is REALLY impressive--excellent sound quality and a variety of versatile sound options.
