I play a YEP-321 Euphonium, and the valve oil that was included with it just was not up to par. Even 10 minutes after oiling a valve, it sticks again, even after washing it in case I over oiled it. Blue Juice solved my problem, I now oil a fraction of what I used to, and it is much more reliable in a performance. On the plus side, it helps clean the inside of your instrument. The only negative thing about Blue Juice is the unusual smell, but it is well worth it.

Interesting oil. It seems to keep my valves clean of light green gunk or the kind that sticks in the portholes like on bronze statues. It works on valves that have been a problem with other oils, and they no longer stick or bind. BUT - they get sluggish if I don't oil almost every day. Almost as if they were coated with cold cream. But they don't stick! I'd like to know what's in it??

Blue Juice is quicker and more responsive than any of the other lubes I've used. I am a return trumpet player after taking 35 years off. I just bought a new Strad and the Blue Juice did not work as well during valve break-in. I switched back to the Bach oil that came with the horn during break-in. However, after a few weeks of playing (or trying to re-learn to play), and after a thorough cleaning, the Blue Juice is back in the horn and works superbly! And about the smell... what's with the reviews stating that the smell is a "down-side"? I LOVE the smell!!! Sometimes I lube my valves when they don't even need it, just so I can enjoy the smell. I sometimes remove the cap just to take in the aroma. I recommend this oil to any trumpet player.

I have a Strad and with my old valve oil I had to oil my valves constantly. Now with blue juice, I oil my valves less and they are quieter and faster.

I use Blue Juice, and my valves never stick. They stay perfect for atleast two days.
