Well, I bought this pedal because I needed to floorboard for my V-Amp 2. And what have I got to say? This works superbly. You might want to replace the EPROM chip which you get with it, when you wanna use the expression pedal. You can get a new chip from Behringer for free, or from Line 6. I replaced mine as soon as I got it.
This thing raised my stage capability. I play guitar and synth guitar in my band, and it just help me out to work with total accuracy and flexibility. I really love it.
I was looking to get the Line 6 FBV to control my Flextone III, but it cost way too much. Then I found this. And after replacing the EPROM chip that is in it (and can be obtained directly from Behringer for free) it was trouble free. One reviewer said you can use the expression pedals for Reverb and Distortion levels, but you can use them to control any setting that has a MIDI CC number. It depends on the device that you plan to control. I use them to control Wah and Master volume mostly so now I can do great swells. If you are looking to buy the Line 6 floorboards, think twice since this is much cheaper and is a great quality. Maybe also go to the FCB1010 group on yahoo and you'll find a ton of information about the FCB1010.
This is a great pedal board to add to the V-ampire series products by Behringer. Very flexible. Great to use as a midi controller, and onstage pedal board to switch through presets. It comes with 10 switches and 2 expression pedals. The only problem with this unit is the instruction manual. It is not written in the simplest of English, and it takes a bit of time to sit read. Overall, great product. and the price is amazing. I'm giving this unit only 4 stars because it's instruction manual is not very user friendly.
I just recently bought this MIDI controller. It is a very nice product. It switches with ease and the LED's are easy to see on dark stages. I would suggest this to anyone. The two expression pedals are VERY convenient. you can go into the configuration and set one to reverb level and another to amp distortion. They can be set to whatever you wish. The only thing I would like for it to have is more presets. There's only 100, so it would be nice to have closer to 200. Other than that, it's the best buy I've ever made.
