This got to be the best mixer out there. It's simple yet looks complicated. We have been using it on our Radio Station and it is a workhorse with full of features. Durability, excellent. FX, crossover, beats and all that good stuff. It has made our CD's better and recording. Mixing is awesome. Not to mention the effect changes that can be done. We have had it for months and still playing with it and it gets better. Highly recommended. Other consoles look pretty bad compare to this DDM4000. Just watch out for power outages to your studio. No sweat, pre-sets are available.
For the money it is a STEAL. Grab it, and have fun.

Behringer DDM4000 Digital DJ Mixer: I've been DJing for many years and have used many mixers. By far this is the best mixer on the market for the money! I'm a big fan of the Numark DXM09 and Pioneer DJM800. The DDM4000 has more features and cost less than both of these. The depth of the DDM4000 is absolutely stunning with XLR master and subwoofer outs plus a crossover for the sub. You can customize the frequencies for the HIGH, MID, and LOW EQ knobs to your feq. of choice. Kills for each side of the crossfader and regular or reversible kills for each channel. 32 Seconds of sampling time with loop, reverse, and single touch modes assignable to two banks which can be assigned to any CH and routed through it's own effect section. The MIC section is also customizable with it's own effects section as well plus inputs for you and your beat boxing buddy. All leds are nice and bright, now a lot of people do not like the blue leds on the top of the mixer because they are too bright which I agree and makes it very hard to see the PFL levels but in the newer models (made after Dec. '08) they changed them to green which are way easier on the eyes. They wanted to keep the color theme yellow and blue but I believe Behringer received a LOT of complaints about the blue leds. The Dual FX section speaks for itself! With nine effects and so many settings you can actually come up with different effects, especially when combined and can be set to either the HIGH, MID, or LOW EQ! Programmable MIDI (Behringer stated that there will be free downloadable MIDI updates with more settings in the future). The display is nice, bright, adjustable and easy on the eyes, that's where you will spend most of your time tweaking settings which can be saved. Two more things that impressed me I haven't seen on any other mixer is the Ultramizer (which makes the sound more "powerful") that has 5 presets and the Punch EQ buttons which emphasize the Bass and/or Snare in the headphones for an easier mix, awesome! So if you want one of the best mixers ever made without going into debt, this would be the one!
