NEW - "Don't make this mistake."

I bought this about 2 yrs ago. Had trouble from the very start. On/Off switch went bad. Transformer hummed. Power level would travel up and down all by it's self. And after about 30 min playing if it did manage to stay on it would get real "muddy". I bought this as a back up but it works a lot better as a boat anchor. No help from customer support and when I took it to several shops, No one would touch it. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I purchased this head due to budget constraints over a year ago from music 123. You can control the sound anyway you desire, from warm and fat to punchy. I play it through an Ampeg SVT half (4 10") and the sound is incredible! Great for all size gigs. Can't go wrong for the price! You just need to find a matching 4ohm cab.

I just bought the amp from music123 and love it, I just got rid of my crate system 4 - b1810 cabinets and 4- b2oo heads. I am replacing all of that with a da15 cabinet and a ba410 cabinet and this amp. It rocks! Best amp for the money I've ever played. I've played for 31 years all the way from sun, Kustom, Gibson, fender and Ampeg. This beats them all in sound and size. Great amp for the beginner and the pro.

This amp will make your music heard over everyone and anything. I have the bb810 to compliment this head and the sound is amazing! Its very loud, very clear, no feedback whatsoever, and the price is amazing! I would recommend this amp to anyone who is seeking earth shaking power.

For the money, you can't beat it, but it's a little noisey. I wouldn't use it to record or to run into the P.A.

This head is simply the BEST deal in terms of wattage for money. 450 watts in this puppy really puts it out. As a teenager, I was looking for something cheap and high output, and then I found this thing. The controls let you configure your sound how ever you want, and fool around with some cool effects. The ultra bass effect has somewhat of a octave trick with can be awesome in the upper register. The shape function messes with the mid range contour to create a "wet" sound and I absolutely love it. I could go on and on about the attributes Some things to note: as with many solid states, once you are past the half way point on the volume clippage comes into effect. This amp does do that how ever you can adjust that on the Gain adjustment, and the active input if need to. I have played a Venue with 1000+ people with my fullstack and this head, and my friend said that way in the back the bass could be heard, and felt thoroughly. I bought the head as soon as it came out, so I probably know all there is to know about this thing. EQUIPMENT NOTE: The BOSS Bass Limiter pedal works wonders, especially making more of a brighter tone and keeping the clippage down. I would suggest a high wattage RMS cab(s). I personally have two handmade cabs I built myself (one 4X10 and 1X15) and those seem to be fine. The head really stands out with a fullstack, and use Monster cable speaker cables for optimum performance. These are just some observations for your support, and if your thinking about buying this beauty, do it, you won't regret it. Aloha and rock on.

i got this yesterday, the thing was great, put out monter sound. was truly happy with it, could mould my sound in everyway. except when i took it to practise the same night,i noticed that the nut on the passive input was rattling off, only to find when i tightened it back up i simply fell out if the head , so i pulled out my cord from the active input and the nut on the input of the head pulled off with it. on closer inspection the passive and active inputs are both black plastic and had snapped. every other input on the head is metal inside and out, and they made the two most used input's plastic? and sure enough they broke, with this the only problem, its great. this flaw needs to fixed and taken into account before purchasing.

I got this amp head after months of searching for the chepest head. After all the diplomacy at home to get an amp. I got this amp head and a GK Backline Cab. This amp head has some tools on it that are nice...but here's the major problem. 60 cycle hum killed my mix again and again, it even got me from not getting gigs because of my noise issues. This amp is lousy. The noise keeps you from enjoying the tools this amp has. Behringer does do some things really well, but bass amps isn't one of them. I owned the amp head for 2 years and dealt with the hum. Trust me...kill the noise and get a GK Backline 300 watt for 40 dollars more. Much better sound...much better quality.

"Great performing rig for the price "

I bought this rig back in January 2006 along with the Berhinger BA210 & BA115 cabinets. At times i play very loud and hard. This set up continues to perform extremely well. There is no output strain at high volume. Just make sure you match the right speakers with this cab. The 450 watts of power (@4ohms) is serious.

I bought this head on Thursday, February 8th 2006 in the afternoon. I had band practice tonight, Saturday, February 11 2006 at 3:00 PM. I had only played around on it minutely to get a sound I liked between these times. Tonight was the first time I turned it up and really tried it out. After about 2 and a half hours of playing at near half volume, I turned it off for a break. 10 minutes later, we started jamming again and the head wouldn't even turn on. This is an absolutely horrible head, DO NOT BUY IT. Go for something that's built better, there's a reason the price is so low on this thing.
