For how cheap this cover is, it is a necessity to keep dust and discoloration away from your kit. I own a custom DW kit and I knew that I didn't want dust or sunlight coming in contact with it. This was the perfect accessory to pick up. The weighted ends keep it in position, but doesn't make it too heavy where it will knock drum mics out of kilter. Good investment!!!!
