I've had one of these for a while now, and I love it. You can select a huge variety of notes at any tempo, including 8th and 16th note triplets, 5 over 1, and 7 over 1. In the analyzer I use most often, the screen uses two intersecting lines to show the timing and force I hit the pad with, gives me my current BPM next to the BPM it's set to, and my overall accuracy percentage. It's really helpful to be able to track my progress in such a hard and fast way.
The pad itself is nicely built, with a pretty good amount of rebound. Not quite as much as my HQ pad, but comparable to my actual kit's rebound. Aside from the batteries and screen equipment, it doesn't seem to be weighted, and there's no grippy-type surface on the bottom, which is kind of a bummer.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their precision and control, which should be everyone. Do yourself a favor and pick up a good stick control exercise book to go along with it.
