B-Band DM-Pack 5 Piece Drum Microphone Set
The B-Band DM-Pack 5 Piece Drum Microphone Set consists of 1 B-Band DM-S, 1 B-Band DM—K, and 3 B-Band DM-T mics and their preamps.

In keeping with the B-Band philosophy, the DM series mics are very lightweight and do not add any noticeable weight to the drum. They are unobtrusive and give your kit a sleek look without getting in the way during a performance. Yet, even with these values, these transducers are very durable and robust, and will endure rigorous touring.

DM-S The B-Band DM-S XOM Drum Contact Mic for Snare drums is a remarkable way to get a great miked sound from your drum consistently, conveniently and with superior isolation. The system consists of the DM-S preamp, built with high-quality class A electronics and the DST Contact Mic for superb tone. The DM-S will work with any size snare drum. The DM-S has two 3.50 mm / 1/8" mini input jacks, one for the DST, the other for an auxiliary condenser or dynamic microphone.

The DM-S preamp attaches quickly to the drum rim without the use of any tools, the DST mounts discreetly on the inside or the drum shell near the batter head while the DST lead is simply fed through the drum air hole to the DM-S preamp. When the aux mic input is used, the B-Band XOM (Cross-Over-Mix) circuit is activated and a 2 kHz low pass is applied, additionally the DST signal has a 2 kHz high pass applied to it. In this circuit the high frequencies above 2 kHz are from the DST and below 2 kHz are from the microphone. XOM provides a smooth and wider frequency range to the blended sound. Four mini switches on the preamp provide settings for the contour of tone and optional 9-volt phantom power supply to an extra condenser mic.

Once in place you simply plug a standard XLR cable directly from the DM-S to the PA or mixer. The DM-S is powered by any 48 volt PA or mixer and has four mini switches for tone contouring and mic options: 1) DST -6 dB cut at 3.3 kHz; 2) DST +6 dB boost at 330 Hz; 3) Mic disable; 4) Mic power.

DM-K The B-Band DM-K Drum Contact Mic for kick drums is a remarkable way to get a great miked sound from your drum consistently, conveniently and with superior isolation. The system consists of the DM-K preamp, built with high-quality class A electronics and the DST Contact Mic for superb tone. The DM-K will work with any size kick drum.

The DM-K preamp attaches quickly to the drum rim without the use of any tools, the DST mounts discreetly on the inside or the drum shell near the batter head while the DST lead is simply fed through the drum air hole to the DM-K preamp.

Once in place you simply plug a standard XLR cable directly from the DM-K to the PA or mixer, there are no positioning issues and because the contact mic stays in the drum the sound is consistent every time you use it. The DM-K is powered by any 48 volt PA or mixer and has four mini switches for tone contouring: 1) +6 dB bass boost; 2) +12 dB boost at 330 Hz; 3) -8 dB cut at 500 Hz; 4) +8 dB boost at 4 kHz.

DM-T
The B-Band DM-T Drum Contact Mic for toms is a remarkable way to get a great miked sound from your drum consistently, conveniently and with superior isolation. The system consists of the DM-T preamp, built with high-quality class A electronics and the DST Contact Mic for superb tone. The DM-T will work with any size rack or floor tom.

The DM-T preamp attaches quickly to the drum rim without the use of any tools, the DST mounts discreetly on the inside or the drum shell near the batter head while the DST lead is simply fed through the drum air hole to the DM-T preamp.
