"Best Mic Clip Out There"

The D-Vice clip is the best clip I have come across in a long time. I have a custom DW kit with the suspension mounts on the toms. The other review states that this clip does not work well with those types of tom mounts, but they work great for my kit. I don't have any problems with mounting the mic right where I need it. There is plenty of room on my toms even with the suspension mounting. All the other clips out there are too rigid and do not have any flexibility to them. They get in the way and are much harder to mount on the drums. The D-Vice clip is easy to take on and off and gives you so many possibilities of mic placement. It's the best clip on the market in my opinion. I use it on all my drums besides my bass drum, which it is not made for anyways. BUY THIS CLIP!!!!!

"Audix D-Vice for Bass Drums;"

These things work great for toms, snares, etc, but it did not work out for my bass drum. I have like a '04 Pearl Export kit and I was trying to get it to clamp onto the hoop and it broke. So yeah, good buy for toms and stuff, but get something else for bass drum unless you know all your hoops are the same width!

These clips are great for drummers. You can mount anywhere on your kit. I do agree with the last review about not being able to mount sm57's.But any other mic with a mounted 5/8 thread will work fine. I recommend these clips for any drummer or percussionist.

Have used an entire set of these for a couple years now. They fit on every drum set that I have mic'ed so far. They stay attached to drum securely and have yet to rattle or vibrate

"Seems to hate the so-called tom "floating" suspension hardware"

Works nice if you attach it directly to the hoop of any drum, but if you have a drum set that features asinine floating suspension with the toms, you have to move the mic down to the mid-bottom of the hoop (where there is actual space) and bend the neck like crazy so the mic isn't in your way. Like it says.. it works with "most" hoops. Be careful!
