Aquarian Performance II Drumhead
Aquarian Performance II Clear Drum Heads

Great for loose tuning
Performance II was designed for "loose" tuning to get depth and punch with no "over-ring." No additional muffling required.

No air bubbles
A clear, two ply head manufactured with Aquarian's Vacuum Process which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies.

Fat sound
Remember that big, fat, low tom tom sound you heard on the classic rock and roll records? The sound that you could never get on your own? Now you can! Performance II drumheads were designed for "loose" tuning to get the depth and punch with no "over-ring". This drumhead is sealed around the edge to create that really deep sound on the tom toms.

Keeping the drummer in mind
Aquarian experienced tremendous growth in a relatively short time because of innovative ideas and unique products of superior quality. As Roy Burns, one of the owners of Aquarian says, "In everything we do, we keep the drummer in mind. We focus on helping the drummer attain a musical sound and achieve a better performance".

These drum heads are the best ever. They make my bad drum set sound good. Way better than anything else. And they are cheap, so buy them now!

These are the best heads I have ever used! I had pinstripes on my Rockstar kit and my kit still sounded bad. As a last resort I got the Aquarian performance 2's. They tune super fast and sound awesome. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a deep sound and great fat attack. I'll never get anything else again!

Over the years, I've used just about ever brand in every model. But the head I always come back too is Aquarian's Performance 2's. Even though you cannot play many styles with them, they are still the best heads you will ever play.

I've used all brands and thicknesses. I always went back to Aquarian Performance II's. They tune and sound great right out of the box. Nothing is better!

These heads are super-durable and sound deep. I have had a couple that were ring-e and would not tune up. Quality control problems that need to be fixed. Still my favorite heads for rock, I tried the others and came back.

These heads are amazing. I've had the same 3 (12", 13", 16") for about a year and a half, and they still sound great. Just as they claim, they give you a fat, low sound. I am a very hard hitter, and I use my toms a lot in my songs, but these things just will not die! So if you need a great sounding, long lasting head, BUY THESE.

After 75 to 100 gigs and nearly 2 years, still not a single dent. A+ for durability. I play a Yamaha Al Fosater Sr Hipgig kit with ad-on toms and these are by far the best sounding tom heads for my drums. Especially mic'd up with my Audix D2's. A+ for tone quality. Live and studio. If you like deep toned boomy toms without the ring, these are for you. They are made for low tuning, so don't over tighten or they get pingy. Around the 50to55 range with a Tama Tention Watch tuner. I'm now buying my 2nd set of the Performance 2's. It seems that after about 1 1/2 years they start getting a little ringy and hard to tune. I love 'em.

I bought these and have had them for about a year! They are extremely heavy and sound deeper than most heads. Great for rock, jazz...whatever you want to play! They are a must have!

If you are the kind of drummer who enjoys doing many different fills and rolls on your toms, these heads might not be for you. If you like to play hard and have a head that will carry across the stage during your gig, then look no further. After ever live show I play, everyone comes up to me and tells me how much they love the sound of my drums. It's the heads, believe me....Don't record with them though, use Aquarian studio x. Tuning is easy, and these bad boys will deliver every night, trust me.

After trying out the Aquarian Performance II heads, I can't believe it!!! Most of the time, tom heads are split in two categories: 1./Single ply heads that have great tones, but not so great durability. 2./Double ply heads that have decent durability, but muffled flat tones that not so many people can stand to hear. The Performance II is the perfect combination. Very durable, easily tuned, great low full tone, and the best drumhead value for the money ever. These heads are worth $1 million. But thankfully, we can get them here at a price anyone can afford. These heads are a God send!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed.
