I give this guitar 100%. It sounds great on regular, and even better hooked into an amp. Its sound was bold, and works for every type of music out there. This is perfect for yearly stage performers, and new commers to guitar playing. It does need tunning often, but thats the only thing I can see as a down side.

This is a great guitar. I've played electric for a long time and although the fingering is a little heavier, the neck is straight and action relatively low. The sound is very nice and I enjoy playing acoustic wherever I am without an amp etc.

I am extremley pleased with my Applause. I found it ti be an EXCELLENT value for the money. I have had no problems with tone or string buzz. It is very comfortable to play as well. And since I prefer my music crisp I do not mind it's not being able to reproduce low bass tones as well as full size acoustic. I highly recommend this guitar to the beginner or intermediate player on a budget.

This guitar is GREAT!!! It has a nice, slim neck and in the natural finish, it is beautiful. It's bass is not that powerful, but the harmonics are great. Power chords are cool on it. When plugged in it is amazing. It is pretty cool also beacause of it's versitility. Just a tweak of the gain knob and BOOM! ROCK!!! Very good for a first or second guitar, or if you won't have much cash to spare for an electric for a little while. Sweet Axe!

This guitar is the total package. this is my 2nd applause, and no complaints at all. right out of the box,tuned it and have been playing it none stop.No flaws in finish,action & strings perfect. unplugged it sounds warm & crisp.BUT,when you plug it in the 3-band graphic allows it to hang note for note,chord,riff,etc.with ALL of my electric guitars.123 is great online store and I almost bought two !!! I needed a guitar to tote around to lessons, and this is perfect! The shallow bowl is nice if you like the feel of an electric guitar, but want an acoustic option. I got the sunburst finish - looks nice! The neck needed some adjustement due to slight warp (maybe from shipping), but a half turn of the truss rod did the trick. Plays beatifully even through my amp and effects pedal!
