You don't have to worry about children breaking instruments anymore! This guitar has the best sound quality and body size for a young beginner or for folk playing. Since it comes with a nice hard shell case you can bring it with you to school or for playing around the campfire!
Alavarez does it right. I bought this RF8 for my daughter when she was 13 to begin her lessons. It blows all other lower end guitars out of the H20. It has great sound and is very well made. She is now 15 and it is time now to trade up as she sings and play in church, we will obviously buy another Alvarez. By the way the first stills looks as good as the purchase date, a testiment to it's quality.
Before I bought this guitar for my 14 year old daughter, I spoke with a customer service rep who assured me that the guitar was made in Korea. When it arrived and said "Made in China" I was ready to send it right back. Amazingly, though, the more I played the instrument the more I liked it. This guitar has very nice action, keeps it's tune incredibly well and is consistent throughout the fingerboard. The quality of materials and workmanship is unsurpassed for the small price of this guitar, and the hard case is a wonderful addition. The concert size is perfect for a teenager, woman, or smaller man, but it does seem to have a bright sound. Overall, very highly recommended!
