"Better than the ION?"

I am a guitarist and have been playing for 38 years. I'm too lazy to learn Reason (which I bought then sold) and I thought I would have a better chance at learning some rudimentary keyboard action. I bought the ION, but it seemed really complicated and so I exchanged it for the Micron - Music123 is tops for customer care - The sounds from the Alesis are awesome and the range of sounds is decent; the Korg of the same price sounds great too. (though the Micron seemed a little more versatile) It's a quality piece of equipment.

I love this thing...great sounds, the ability to edit if I want, and easy to work with. Plus, it's so tiny and cool! It also is built a lot better than other products in the price range, as it has nice metal sides that give it a nice, solid feel. Two thumbs up!

I had been looking for an easy to use synth for some time. Having played guitar for years and having no music reading ability I needed something intuitive to learn and play. The micron fits the bill admirably. Theres every kind of synth sound I've ever heard then some at the twiddle of the control knob. The two sliders and the tone wheel allow heaps of variation on any given patch and are programmable along with the three parameter adjustment knobs which hardly get touched in my world. I mainly use the micron 'rock organ' patch for straight ahead playing and flick through my personal faves for sound effects and washes. You want sound effects? You've got plenty on tap and they're all adjustable. I've hardly scratched the surface of the microns abilities and am learning new stuff every time I spark it up. The only problem I've had is keeping the rest of the band off it! Awesome value for money.....And thanks music123 for being so user friendly...
