A great sounding 20w amp. Tone is great, equalizer is very nice, allows alot of fine tuning on your sound. A little distortion when volume hits 8+. Great amp for practice or jamming.

I bought this little amp a few months ago and it is just great! I've replaced both my big cumbersome 120 watt 15" bass combo amp as well as a combo guitar amp in my living room with this nifty little unit. -And it sure is a lot easier to transport to local jams. It sounds great as a bass amp with really wonderful rich tone, and it is also a terrific jazz and acoustic guitar amp that can be miked if necessary. -Sort of reminds me of a smaller verson of those old made-in-Hollywood Polytone bass and jazz guitar amps. This is a well-made high quality item. As others have mentioned, it could use a line out feature, but maybe they'll include that in their next production run. It's not the amp for a hot lead guitar player, but it's very nice for a mellow rhythm guitar sound and a terrific bass amp. I've been playing more years than I care to (or can) remember, and I really like this amp.

I borrowed this amp from a friend for school jazz band rehearsals and its LOUD for 20 watts. It also has a great sound, not to mention how cheap it is. 1/8 inch headphone output is a plus too. Any beginner to intermediate player should get one.

"Great Practice Amp!"

This is an amazing little amp! Feature for feature this amp is superior to every other amp in the price range. Now instead of lugging my stage setup to practice, consisting of a GK head / tuner / etc... in a rack, plus speakers, I bring this tiny amp, bass, and stand all in one trip from the car. The sound is excellent with effective EQ and keeps up with two guitars through the PA, drums, and vocals. The build quality is superior. However, it is missing a few features that would make it perfect. It needs a DI output to the board. I solved this problem with a Behringer DI100 which works great. A built in tuner would be very helpful (I smell a mod coming). An input with impedance matched to a laptop headphone output would help. And a couple hooks in the recessed back for the cord would be much appreciated. This is a great amp with a reasonable price tag. There isn’t any reason to lug anything more to practice.
