I like the storage pockets on the outside of this case. However, even with the pockets empty, it's top heavy. You have to hold down the bottom while you're filling or emptying the case. I don't transport my instrument out of my home; all I need is a case for storage of my instrument. If I had to use and transport it frequently I would have bought a different case that is more balanced and provides better protection while transporting from place to place. For my purposes, it's fine. For others, it may not fill their requirements.
