ART gave the 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer a rugged, all-steel chassis that mounts in a single 19" rackspace. Dual-channel, 15-band, 2/3-octave graphic equalizer from features constant Q circuitry with a 3% center frequency accuracy, 20mm center detent sliders, a selectable boost/cut range of 6dB or 12dB, active balanced and unbalanced input and output connections, variable input level control, clip level indicators, ground lift switch, internal power supply, and selectable line voltage switch. Each channel has its own bypass switch with LED indicator.

I use the ART 341 as a tool for putting the final seasoning to my tone (Basses). I selected the dual channel version so I can run two separate basses through the unit in live performances situations, keeping one bass plugged in and on standby. I’m very happy with the unit. Bypassed, it doesn’t add any colour to the sound. Once active, the unit does what it’s supposed to do—provide a wide range of eq options. I run the unit at the +/- 12 db setting and with a judicious hand (and ear) I can augment the richness of my instruments which, of course, lends to inspiration. I particularly like the variable input level control feature—it makes a wonderful attenuator for setting practice room levels. My ART 341 is very quiet and is the only signal processor I use. I’m currently running the unit with a Fender Precision Lyte with active pickups and a Fender Jazz Standard through an Ampeg R50. It’s lovely to have no hum from the JB singles and to have my tone enriched with additional warmth and fatty goodness. I highly recommend the ART 341.
